Brownie is a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix, approximately 8-10 weeks old weighing 11.8 pounds. He is very playful and has lots of puppy energy. He sleeps through the night, though protested initially when he was by himself. He settled in after about 15 minutes. Surprisingly for such a young puppy - he did not pee or poop in his area during the night!! This is not to say he's potty trained, but he does not like to soil his sleeping space, which is great!! He will whimper a little bit when he wants to go outside to potty. He has a 50 pound pit mix to play with and Brownie holds his own against the older puppy. Brownie was very hungry and guards his food closely against the other puppy, but he is loosening up, realizing he doesn't have to fight to eat. He will probably be a good sized dog and will need someone who can expel all his puppy exuberance.

Adopters with other animals are a plus and children (older than 8) are great too! Brownie loves them all! Beginner puppy training classes are highly encouraged for this adoption. Ask us about adoption discounts on adopted dogs!!
