Scout
Scout showed up in a feral colony looking for handouts. He was a young tomcat who had apparently been dumped or had wandered away from his home. When the cats in that colony were trapped, Scout was trapped along with them. He turned out to be completely tame, so instead of being returned to his caretaker he was taken into a foster home, where he is now looking for somebody to adopt him.

Scout has been neutered and vaccinated and tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia Virus (negative for both, luckily). He seems to be about a year old, probably born sometime in spring 2007. He is a very sweet and outgoing cat who gets along with most other cats. He would probably do well with a gentle, cat-friendly dog as well. He is very handsome, with his sporty markings and soft pettable coat. All in all, he's quite a charmer. If you would like to be charmed by this nice little guy, send an email to Janet at JanetCatMom@yahoo.com to arrange a meeting (please include "Scout" in the subject line). The adoption process for Scout includes an application, contract, and tax-deductible donation.
