We (Underdog Rescue)
are a new rescue in Baltimore City, MD, and we are in need of
help to find a home for a boy we got last week. His name is Rocco, and
he is a beagle/bulldog mix that is about 10 months old. He was turned in
to us by his owners because they had just had a baby and could not take
care of both, and they were about to take him to a shelter that is over
crowded where his chances of being adopted were unknown.
He is good with other dogs, and does not mind cats at all. We do not know if he has been around children too much, so we would go with no young kids. He is a huge fan of running too, he would really love a yard, and definitely needs a fence since he is half beagle. Being that we are so new, we have nowhere to take him. Rocco is full of energy and would be great with other dogs (mine is just not so good with other dogs). He is in need of some training. He knows the basics, but is just a little wild. We are currently waiting on our non-profit status to go through, and have about thirty dollars in our rescue fund so I am begging for another rescue or person to take Rocco on, as he is really a sweet boy. He is also up to date on shots, and neutered.
