Mary
Mary is a sweet and affectionate young female, about 3 years old. She was born and grew up in a feral colony, but she isn't wild at all, just a little shy in new situations. She will take time and patience to get her used to a new home, but she is well worth the effort. She is very friendly with other cats, and would probably do well with a nice cat-friendly dog.

Mary is currently boarding at a vet hospital in hopes of finding her a home. The colony where she lives is under scrutiny by Animal Control because of complaints by neighbors. The cats there are at risk of being trapped and euthanized, or of starving if their caretaker is forced to stop feeding them. Those cats are also in need of a home, either as house cats or barn cats. Four of them have been adopted into homes and are doing very well.

Mary is negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and is spayed. She is very cute, with a black spot under her chin and a short tail, with short legs to match. If you are interested in adopting this adorable little cat, please call Alana at 301-937-3020. If she's not there, leave a message. Or send an email to Janet at JanetCatMom@yahoo.com. Please include "Mary" in the subject line of your email.
