Kirby & Tux

Kirby

Tux

These 4.5 year old tuxedo cats are two of the sweetest, most loving, and goofiest cats I've ever met! They were found and rescued almost 3 years ago from a parking lot. They had been someone's pets before, because both had already been fixed. Since then, they have lived with two other cats (and sometimes a dog and a child) and everyone has gotten along well! Kirby is the one with the white stripe on his nose and the paws that seem to be too big for his body. He kisses and drools and snuggles. He has fish allergies but it has been easy finding food for him as long as it has no fish products in it such as holistic select wet food and Science Diet dry food. Tux has dainty paws, does pop-a-wheelies and loves attention but understands when you have other things to do. (He may just follow you around for a bit to see if you have any more time for him.) Both cats love to drink water from the faucet, love cuddling in bed, and love being around each other.

People might ask whether Kirby and Tux could be separated for adoption. The answer is a bit of yes and mostly no. Of course it is possible... but they are so companionable and content with each other's company (and have been together so long) it would be such a shame to separate such good buddies. They would be separated as a last resort if nothing else was found for them together... but the hope is that these two buddies can stay together.

Sadly, Kirby and Tux must now find either a one-year foster home or a new permanent home because their mommy is going to graduate school and can only take 2 of the 4 cats. She also has a 10-yo and a 13-yo and will keep those two seniors with her since they would be more difficult to rehome than Kirby and Tux.
