Cookie and Sugar

Courtesy Posting - Not CARA

We are feeling so very desperate right now for these lovely doggys. My neighbor passed away recently and left behind these two wonderfully lovable doggys. The family must sell the house and if we do not find a home for them, they will have to put them down. Can you please help?

Cookie is a 6.5 year old Husky, female, spayed, current on shots and in good health. She is a little overweight though from lack of exercise. I am walking her every day now. She was raised with the Rotti, a cat and a bird. She is good with children and is so very friendly with anyone that comes in the house. She loves walks and to be brushed.

Sugar is a 9 year old Rotti, female, spayed, current on shots and in good health. She was also raised with a cat and a bird and is good with children. She too is so very friendly with anyone coming in the house. She also loves to walk and to be brushed.

They both just crave love and attention and are so very lovable. They both have been groomed and always went to the Vets regularly for their checkups. This lady took very good care of them and must have loved them dearly. My husband and I go to see them regularly and walk them. I watch them together and they are just about inseparable and I think they will grieve for each other if split up. I know it will be hard, but I would at least like to try to keep them together. The family is working on the house and said they should be done by the end of the month. That is how long I have to help them. Any help you might be able to give would be so appreciated.
