Bugaboo was a barn kitten who was brought in to a local hospital to be spayed and vaccinated. Knowing somebody who was interested in adopting a "cow kitty," a client suggested they try to place her as a house cat instead of putting her back outside. The owners of the farm agreed; probably Bugaboo had been dumped there and they sure didn't need any more cats around. Unfortunately, the hoped-for adoption fell through, so Bugaboo has been boarding at the hospital for months and months. Bugaboo is an incredibly cute black and white cat with unusual markings and soft, silky medium-length hair: the kind that doesn't matt and doesn't shed much. She is a very affectionate kitty. In fact, she is so affectionate it's hard to get good pictures of her she just wants to follow you around and be cuddled. She is a little timid and can be easily startled by unexpected noises, but she should adjust quickly once she goes to a real home. Bugaboo is fully vetted: vaccinated, spayed, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia Virus. She is so adorable we can't understand why nobody has snatched her up yet, but we're confident her special home is out there and hopefully she will find it soon! If you are interested in meeting Bugaboo, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask for Alana. |
